GRADE 2 TEACHERS AND STUDENTS CELEBRATED NATIONAL READING MONTH

In the last week of November, 2021, the grade two teachers were having a meeting regarding the Reading Month Celebration with the theme “Bawat Bata Bumabasa sa Kabila ng Hamon ng Pandemya”  Each teacher contributed her ideas on how the celebration was going to be.

The grade two were assigned to have the virtual poem recitation  and headdress contests. We then prepared the criteria for judging and chose the panel of judges and the program of the event which was scheduled on the 7th day of December, 2021. The title of the poem was “The Corona Warriors” by Anika. This poem talks on the many frontliners who were the heroes of today. They were fighters and protectors of the patients who were contacted by the virus, so it was  very relevant to what is happening in our world today, the pandemic brought about by the COVID 19.

Dimalanta, and through the cooperation of all Grade Two Teachers  with the  full support of our two supportive Master Teachers, Dr. Josenia S. Ariaga and Mr Joseph A. Villaralvo through the leadership of our School Head, Mr Carlito T. Adducul.

The success of the event wouldn’t be possible without the cooperation of  teachers and our pupils and parents. of San Antonio Elementary School. Teachers are very innovative and resourceful because through the concerted efforts of each one of us, we were able to tap the talents of our pupils through an online program and thus they were able to showcase their talents and shine amidst the darkest moments due to the covid 19. This only showed that through teamwork and cooperation, we can be as one thus,  we were able to come up with a successful event despite the pandemic situation. Hurry to us, grade two teachers!
