SUPREME PUPIL GOVERNMENT

  • In public elementary schools, the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) of the Department of Education is the most important co-curricular pupil’s organization authorized to carry out necessary Department of Education programs and activities.
  • It is a place for children to put their leadership and social skills to the test. This organization’s officers act as school leaders. If individuals work together, they can fulfill their goals while also helping the school achieve more of its objectives.
  • The San Antonio Elementary School Supreme Pupil Government is the student body’s highest governing body. It aims to improve the leadership abilities and attributes of all student leaders within its authority, encourage students to be aware of their basic rights as students and citizens of this country, as well as the benefits and privileges that they are entitled to.
  • In general, the Supreme Pupil Government seeks to influence and mold student leaders as well as ordinary students to be vigilant and active citizens in their respective communities and the country, that they will actively participate rather than remain passive in addressing problems and issues that have a significant impact on their community and our country.

  • Perpetual adherence in all the ideals and principles of democracy
  • Upliftment of the moral well-being of the studentry
  • Development of the general welfare of the school.
  • Preservation, promotion, and implementation of the goals and aspirations of the youth.

MISSION:

  • Develop love of God and country, moral character, personal discipline, leadership, and efficiency among its members.
  • Train members of effective and efficient leadership.
  • Help the students develop self-confidence
  • Promote unity among leaders and the student body
  • Maintain school aspirations to promote quality education
  • Serve and protect the students’ rights and welfare

PREAMBLE

  • We, the students of SAN ANTONIO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, believing in the need for a better organized Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme Student Government and in the development of the youth as future leaders of the nation, do hereby promulgate and adopt this Constitution and By – Laws of the Supreme Pupil Governments and Supreme Student Governments in Elementary and Secondary Schools that shall advance, implement and maintain our goals and aspiration, embody the ideas and principles of freedom, equality, justice and democracy, and promote the welfare of all students and academic standards of our Alma Mater.

OBJECTIVES

  1. OBJECTIVES A. To help students develop passionate love of country, values and competencies that will enable them to realize their full potential and to contribute meaningfully in building the nation.
  1. OBJECTIVES B To help develop a student – friendly, safe and motivating learning environment.
  1. OBJECTIVES C To nurture an inclusive service – oriented, gender – sensitive  and environment conscious community
  1. OBJECTIVES D To help students to develop self – confidence, critical thinking,  problem – solving, decision – making, and to utilize these skills  in contributing towards nation building
  1. OBJECTIVES E To empower the students to strive for excellence in the academics, leadership and social responsibility towards being proactive members of the society

7. OBJECTIVES G Standardize election code for the Supreme Pupil Governments and Supreme Student Governments to ensure fair, honest, orderly and properly coordinated elections

8. OBJECTIVES H Provide reference in monitoring and evaluating the performance of the Supreme Pupil Governments and Supreme Student Governments

9. OBJECTIVES I Harness the Supreme Pupil Governments and Supreme Student Governments as partners in achieving quality education and academic excellence in school
